Maybe you’ve been here for a while. Maybe you’re brand new. Either way, with the fresh rebrand for GS Photo Co I thought it was about time for a little reintroduction. Because while I’m the one behind the camera, there’s a whole lot more that goes into this business than just taking pretty photos.

So hey, I’m Gavin — a Colorado native, film photography lover, mountain enthusiast, coffee shop explorer, and Colorado wedding photographer you’ll have to drag off the dance floor. 

A Little About Me

I was born and raised here and after all these years, I still can’t believe I get to call Colorado home. I love everything about living here! Being able to capture love stories in some of the most beautiful places is so special, and shooting in the mountains never gets old. 

When I’m not photographing a wedding, you can usually find me exploring a new coffee shop, spending time with my friends and family, or finding an excuse to get outside and explore somewhere new.

I have been shooting weddings for 5 years and have shot everything from huge weddings to intimate elopements. Give me the big emotions, packed dance floors, unique traditions and people who aren’t afraid to have the wedding day they dream of. I live for the authentic moments, real emotions, and couples who want to have FUN on their wedding day. 

A Business For Every Kind Of Love

One of the most important things about my business is that it is a place where ALL love is welcome. As an LGBT business owner it’s important to me that you know: this is a safe space. I celebrate all love, stand with all races and will always support every human just the way they are. Thanks for being here, I can promise you’ll feel safe, supported and hot af. Hate has no place in this business.

I never want anyone to wonder whether or not they belong in front of my camera. Your relationship, your identity, your story, your family, and the way you choose to celebrate your marriage are all yours — and I’m here to photograph it exactly as it is. There is no one “right” way to have a wedding, and there certainly isn’t one right way to love.

Inspiration For My Rebrand

If you’ve spent any time on my website, you’ve probably noticed that it doesn’t look like every other wedding photography website out there, and that was intentional. When I started thinking about my rebrand, I knew I didn’t want to create something that felt like a version of what everyone else in the industry was doing. I wanted color and to highlight my love and expertise for film photography. I wanted something that felt completely me. A huge part of the inspiration for this look came from vintage magazines, old matchbooks, cigarette ads, and film photos.

My approach is super low-key and designed to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I promise, even if you think you’re not photogenic, I know how to help you feel relaxed and confident. Movement-oriented prompts, zero awkward posing, and a gallery that’ll make your jaw drop.
