If you’re dreaming of a unique Hawaii wedding, I’ve got just the place for you. This celebration at Kona Coffee and Tea on the Big Island was pure magic. Nestled on the slopes of Kona with incredible ocean views, this location is one of the most breathtaking and unique places to get married in Hawaii.Fun fact: this coffee farm is also where The Bachelorette filmed the final rose ceremony for Season 21 — which makes it an iconic location to say “I do.”

The day began with Kenzie getting ready alongside her sisters, mom, and maid of honor. When the girls arrived at the coffee farm venue, they put the finishing touches on hair, makeup, and details — with the incredible Kona coastline views as their backdrop.

Before the ceremony, Kenzie and Pato chose to share a private first touch and heartfelt prayer together. It was such a beautiful way to start their Hawaii wedding day together before stepping into the ceremony.

One of the most touching parts of this Kona coffee farm wedding was how deeply family was woven into the ceremony. The ceremony was officiated by Kenzie’s grandfather. Both Kenzie and Pato’s grandmothers prayed over the ceremony. And, they were surrounded by just their closest family and friends. With around 40 guests, Kenzie and Pato’s wedding was the perfect example of how intimate weddings create space for deeper connection.
Kenzie and Pato said their vows overlooking the ocean. After their first kiss as husband and wife, they ran back down the aisle so Kenzie could change into her second dress.

Following family photos, guests enjoyed cocktail hour as the sun began to set.
Guests mingled among the coffee trees, sipping drinks and soaking in the view.

Dinner was a relaxed experience with wood-fired pizzas cooked right at the venue by ‘Elepaio Pizza — perfect for a laid-back yet elevated Hawaii wedding reception.
Heartfelt toasts followed, filled with stories, laughter, and plenty of happy tears. With only 40 guests, every speech felt deeply personal.

Being that this wedding was on a coffee farm, of course the reception featured a coffee bar highlighting White Nene coffee. It was a fun nod to the location, and guests absolutely loved it.

As the DJ kicked off the party, the dance floor was quickly filled. Guests of all ages celebrated side by side.
The night ended with a grand exit up the stairs, surrounded by cheers from family and friends. The perfect send-off to an unforgettable Kona wedding day.

If you are searching for a unique wedding venue in Hawaii (and a photographer that would LOVE to perfectly capture the day) a venue like Kona Coffee and Tea could be the perfect place for you. And, I am always looking to go back to Hawaii! If you’re dreaming of getting married in Kona, I would love to document your day in a way that feels true to you.
